How to send us digital files.

We only accept those images taken in RAN format (you never send the JPG format) and they have to be saved as TIFF files of 8 bits. If you want to compress them, you must use the option LZW. You should never use the compression in JPG format. You should never interpolate the files of the digital camera. Should it be necessary, we would do it ourselves. Please, make sure your vertical pictures are in the right position, in order to keep us from turn them so as to display them properly.

Make sure you apply to the pictures the focus masks of the camera instead of applying those of the Photoshop. The final result of the images is much better when using the focus masks of the kind hardware (of the camera) rather than those of the kind software (by using the Photoshop).
You should never use the high sensitivities (ISO) in a digital camera without a good reason, in other words, if it is possible, use the low sensitivities (from 100 to 400). Make sure the digital images are exposed appropriately or slightly overexposed (1/3) you should prevent yourself from using the under-exposition the more the better, as it is not easy to restore the original values of the image even though you are a master of the Photoshop.

Digital deliveries

There are several ways of sending us your digital images:
As low resolution thumbnails (between 30 and 100k) in a CD/DV. This is the more appropriate method for the delivery of several images, because it enables us to take them up quickly to our editing team so as they could revise them and choose the most commercial.
We need you work with the RGB colour space, particularly the Adobe RGB 1998. In this space, the results for printing the images in paper are excellent. Please, make sure all the images are on the right colour space and avoid, if possible the colour space SRGB, because it is only suitable for images that will be used in web applications.
Please, do not use excessive focus masks to get a better resolution on screen. If a Photoshop focus mask is needed, it would be the best if you didn't overpass the following parameters: Quantity1, Range 2 Threshold 1. Bear in mind the fact that the final customer, generally, would apply a focus mask, so, the clue is to apply a soft focus mask so as to offer the best of the images.
We want the scanned images in TIFF format and without compressing. If( in case of lack of space) you want to compress your images, please use the Photoshop's LZN option. Do not use the JPEG compressions. Do never interpolate the images you're going to send us.
